The Cyber Risk Assessment (Cyber Reconnaissance) will: 

  • Identify and prioritise assets that are at risk that need defending

  • A long term protection strategy

  • A mitigation strategy (develop a defence plan)

  • An understanding of the connection between information security, business continuity, IT operations and operational risk management 

  • Obtain a working knowledge of operational risk, threat, vulnerabilities, impact, services, and their related assets

  • Strategies that involve:

    • Creating a Cyber Security Incident Response Team (training staff to defend in case of attack​

    • Managing a Cyber Security Incident Response Team

    • Deploying a Cyber Security Incident Response Team during and after a cyber attack
